Françoise Barrière (1944 – 2019)
passed away on April 24, 2019 in Paris.
We lost a very significant person in a whole history of electroacoustic music – composer, writer, editor. She was co-founder with Christian Clozier of many important projects: Institute of Electroacoustic Music in Bourges – IMEB, with festival, competition and academy, as well as International Confederation of Electroacoustic Music – CIME/ICEM, official partner of UNESCO. She was an author of many significant works. Deep condolences for Christian Clozier and Clarisse Clozier.
